Castello Di Poppiano Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva (2012)

Castello di Poppiano is located in the area of “Chianti Colli Fiorentini” (“Chianti Hills of Florence”). While Chianti Colli Fiorentini “Il Cortile” and “Riserva” DOCG, together with Vinsanto, remain our most traditional wines, innovative works are ongoing and new IGT (Geographic Typical Indication) wines are being produced.
HARVEST NOTE

Dark ruby with slightly garnet hues, complex aromatic impact, full-bodied with noticeable tannins, intense but subtle texture, well harmonized with a well-tempered alcohol. Pleasant, full balanced finish.

TASTING NOTE

Offers mature black plum, white pepper, and baking spice aromas. The lively palate delivers tart sour cherry, clove and underbrush notes, with a smoothly tannic structure.
